Laboratory testing, supplements, and other recommended services are not included in the visit fee and may carry an additional cost. When appropriate, superbills can be provided for you to submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

Your initial visit is a comprehensive review of your health history, current concerns, lifestyle, and goals to begin creating a care plan with testing recommendations when appropriate.
Your first follow up is a detailed check in to review lab results and develop your personalized treatment plan.
A return visit to discuss progress, adjust care plan, or address multiple concerns for established patients. This visit can also be used for review of lab results from other providers.

Lab work can be a helpful part of understanding the bigger picture of your health. If you are located in CT, foundational bloodwork may often be billed through your insurance directly by the laboratory, depending on your individual plan and coverage.
If you’re outside of Connecticut, there are still options available. Because Dr. DaSilva can only order labs for patients within the state where she is licensed, you may ask your local healthcare provider to order the recommended bloodwork or choose to order testing independently.
Bundled lab options are also available, typically ranging from $50–$375, depending on the testing selected. If you already have recent lab results, you’re always welcome to bring them to your visit so we can review them together.
Functional and specialty laboratory testing is billed separately from appointment fees. Testing recommendations are individualized, and exact pricing will be reviewed with you before any test is ordered.
A comprehensive stool test that evaluates bacteria , parasites, and other markers of inflammation, and gut health.
A comprehensive urine & saliva hormone test that evaluates sex hormones, its metabolites, cortisol patterns and adrenal function.
A urine test that measures organic acid metabolites related to nutrient status, energy production and detoxification.
Urine test that looks for metabolites associated with mold mycotoxin exposure.
DNA sample to identify genetic variants that may influence specific concerns.

For those living outside of Connecticut, Dr. DaSilva may be available to work with you in a health consulting capacity, offering education, guidance, and supportive wellness recommendations.
