During her time in medical school, Dr. DaSilva received advanced training in genomic analysis and personalized medicine while working closely with world-renowned physician Dr. Peter D’Adamo. She incorporates bioinformatic tools and individualized assessments to help develop comprehensive, one-of-a-kind protocols tailored to each patient’s unique needs. Dr. DaSilva also pursued advanced training in integrative fertility methods under the guidance of Dr. Jaclyn Chasse and completed Craniosacral Therapy training to further enhance her integrative approach to patient care.
Following graduation, Dr. DaSilva completed a three-year residency at an integrative wellness clinic alongside Dr. Ellen Lewis, where she received advanced clinical training in comprehensive naturopathic care. Her residency included specialized experience in women’s health, HPV management, and Escharotic treatments, while also providing care for a broad range of acute and chronic conditions. This experience strengthened her ability to evaluate complex health patterns, identify contributing factors, and develop individualized treatment plans that address the whole person.
Dr. DaSilva’s passion for naturopathic medicine began at an early age after being diagnosed with vitiligo, an autoimmune condition affecting skin pigmentation. Her personal experience with vitiligo shaped her understanding of the profound impact chronic illness can have, not only physically, but emotionally and socially. After navigating various conventional treatment approaches, she began searching for a deeper understanding of healing and discovered the importance of addressing the body as an interconnected system. This journey inspired her commitment to helping others find answers through personalized, root-cause care.
Prior to medical school, Dr. DaSilva earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Southern Connecticut State University in 2016. During her undergraduate studies, she had the opportunity to work alongside the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station (CAES), where she isolated bacteria from mosquitoes to investigate the role of the mosquito microbiome and its relationship to the Zika virus. Through this research, she developed a deep appreciation for the intricate relationships found in nature and recognized that balance within biological systems is essential for health and resilience.
Dr. DaSilva also devoted significant time to volunteering with children and adults with special needs, which led her to work as a home health aide for individuals on the autism spectrum. Through this experience, she gained a deeper appreciation for individualized care and witnessed the meaningful improvements that comprehensive, supportive approaches could bring to quality of life. This further strengthened her passion for naturopathic medicine.
Additionally, Dr. DaSilva worked as a physical therapy aide, where she provided one-on-one support through guided exercises, stretching, and hands-on techniques. She witnessed firsthand the body’s remarkable capacity to heal and adapt when provided with the appropriate support, an understanding that continues to shape her approach to medicine today.

My journey with Naturopathic Medicine began with my own experience living with vitiligo. As a young person diagnosed with an autoimmune condition affecting my skin, I experienced firsthand the physical, emotional, and social challenges that can accompany visible changes in the body. The search for answers became deeply personal as I navigated different treatment approaches and longed for a deeper understanding of why this was happening to my body.
This experience shaped the way I practice medicine today. I understand that vitiligo is not simply a condition of the skin, it is a reflection of a deeper imbalance within the body involving the immune system, environment, nutrition, stress, and overall health. My goal is to provide patients with compassionate, individualized care that looks beyond the surface and explores the unique factors contributing to their health journey.
Through advanced training in naturopathic medicine, personalized health assessment, clinical herbal medicine, nutrition, and integrative care, I work with patients to support immune balance, optimize overall wellness, and create thoughtful treatment plans tailored to their individual needs.
Living with vitiligo has given me a unique perspective, not only as a physician, but as someone who understands the emotional weight of this condition. My mission is to help patients feel heard, supported, and empowered while pursuing a path toward greater health and confidence.
